Hike up the Sugar Loaf,  Blorenge or The Skirrid  for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the Brecon Beacons.

Abergavenny Market:

Visit the vibrant market held several days a week, offering local produce, crafts and antiques. The Artisan Farmers Markets takes place on the 4th Thursday of every month.

Bannau Brycheiniog | Brecon Beacons

Brecon Beacons National Park, established in 1957. It covers an area of approximately 1,344 square kilometers, encompassing diverse landscapes ranging from rolling hills and high mountain plateaus to forests and waterfalls. The park is named after the Brecon Beacons, a range of mountains including Pen y Fan, the highest peak in southern Britain at 886 meters. Renowned for its natural beauty, the park offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, caving, and horse riding. It is also rich in wildlife and cultural heritage, featuring ancient monuments, castles, and charming villages. In 2013, it was designated an International Dark Sky Reserve, making it an ideal location for stargazing.
